The European Light Rail Congress took place earlier this month, and we were delighted to have the opportunity to present at the event. Amber Hart, Head of New Business (EMEA), attended the show with our Business Development Manager, Albana Khanna, and provided insight into how our maintenance and asset management software supports Light Rail organisations reach their sustainability goals. In case you missed the presentation, Amber discussed software solutions for efficient operations, strategic themes for Light Rail organisations, and how organising assets into hierarchies within Agility has supported our customers to transform their operations.
The presentations and debates that took place throughout the event were incredibly valuable to us, especially as we look to continually evolve our asset and maintenance management software to meet the needs of the market. It was great to network with Light Rail providers from around the world, to hear how digitalisation has improved the service they provide, and what the role of technology looks like for the future of sustainable transport.
We enjoyed seeing lots of familiar faces whilst at the show, including one of our long-term customers, Edinburgh Trams. Edinburgh Trams selected Agility CMMS almost 10 years ago to track all of their maintenance and to develop their Asset Management System. They have benefitted from real time tracking of asset changes, full visibility of their reactive and planned maintenance through integrations to their key maintainers’ CMMS platforms, and have more recently rolled out Agility Mobile. The full case study can be found here.
It was also great to speak with our partners UKTram, and to hear from their Managing Director, James Hammett, about their partnership with the UK’s Light Rail Safety & Standards Board, and the work they are doing to enhance the safety on Light Rail systems across the nation. We are thrilled to have been asked to present at forums later in the year, and more details will be released for these in the coming months.
We would like to thank Mainspring for organising such a great event, and we are looking forward to the UK Light Rail Conference in July. If you couldn’t attend the event, but would like to discover more about how we can support your asset maintenance, please get in touch.
