In response to IT technologies becoming more consumerised and customer demand for a familiar and flexible operating system to allow mobile working, SSG Insight announced a new extension of its mobile solutions offering to provide customers with access to its market-leading Agility 9 asset management system via Apple mobile devices. As well as expanding on their product offering, SSG Insight has partnered with Sheffield Hallam University to publish an extensive new report amongst leading manufacturing executives. The report, Harnessing Technology and Insight is co-authored by Dr Hongwei Zhang and Professor Sameh Saad from Sheffield Hallam University and Jon Moody of SSG Insight. It discusses the optimism and concern around one of the most critical challenges facing modern Britain: the relentless rise of technology, particularly in the form of Industry 4.0.
