We are delighted to be attending the 18th annual UK Light Rail Conference, taking place in our neighbouring city of Leeds, this July. Following the success of this year’s European Light Rail Conference, we are looking forward to catching up with familiar faces and networking with key providers of Light Rail in the UK.

Mainspring, and the Light Rail Conference pride themselves on being at the forefront of all things Light Rail. Therefore, the announcement of the Leeds light rail system inspired Leeds to host this year’s conference. The full agenda will be released soon, however West Yorkshire Combined Authority have been confirmed as key note speakers, sharing their plans and visions of the new transport system.
Join Oliver Reeves, an account manager at SSG Insight, at the event to discover more about Agility CMMS. Oli has extensive knowledge of the light rail sector, including the requirements of an asset and maintenance management solution. Agility is a cloud-based EAM and CMMS system that enables transport maintenance teams to manage and maintain assets effectively, provides a control room log to report and track incidents, and reduce work completion time.
Whilst at the recent European Light Rail Conference, our Head of New Business, Amber Hart, spoke about the importance of asset and maintenance management for ensuring the sustainability and long-term viability of light rail systems, and discussed various strategic themes for light rail organisations to consider. If you missed this conference, or if you’d like to understand more about what was covered in the presentation, complete the form below to arrange to meet at the conference to discuss how Agility can support your sustainability goals.
The full agenda for the conference will be released in the coming weeks, but we are looking forward to an action-packed event. We are looking forward to the event and catching up with customers, prospects and our partner UKTram.
In the meantime, see what our customers have said about their Agility journey so far:
“Tracking maintenance and assets in near real-time is extremely important for us at Edinburgh Trams and we have customised the dashboard and reporting interfaces to provide the Engineering team with the tools and NRT data they require to effectively manage assets and maintainers. Our management team have provided feedback throughout the initiative which has helped us to further improve our decision making processes.”
Doug Curry, Edinburgh Trams
“Agility is also supporting us with achieving our ISO 55001 compliance, the checklists are great, and we’re able to carry out an audit very quickly as all the information we need is right there in Agility.”
Caroline Howarth, KAM
“Agility acts as the Control Room Log which is the central reference point for all information for any operational events that could affect service such as; late trams, withdrawn services, tracing issues, weather, shift handover, accidents, city events and road traffic. Agility captures all this information, approximately 600 entries per month, which are monitored and used to demonstrate performance and then generate any corrective work that might be needed.”
Chris Harper, Nottingham Trams
